Philips Cafe Gaia HD7546 overflowing or leaking through the handle
My Philips Cafe Gaia HD7546 coffee maker started to overflow and coffee was dripping out through the handle on the thermo jug.
First, I did a clean from limescale (our water has a lot in it so it is necessary from time to time) but it didn’t help.
The solution turned out to be quite simple. In the hole on the lid of the thermo jug, there was a buildup of hardened coffee grains. It was hard to see because the grains has the same colour as the lid but I realized that the hole was very small due to the buildup. Just pushing a small screwdriver through to remove it and rinse with water solved the problem.
No need to buy a new coffee maker 🙂
